Contribution to the IIGA:
Alan was Team Manager for the Jersey Team at the inaugural Inter-Island Games in Isle of Man in 1985 and the Founder of the Jersey IGA in 1985.During his term as IIGA Chairman the office headquarters for the Association was established in Douglas, Isle of Man; the Association became a Manx-based registered company and NatWest Offshore Bank was brought on board as the first title/main sponsor.
