AGM of the Alderney IGA

At their recent AGM of the Alderney IGA Chairman John Waller and Secretary Jill Smart both stood down from their position. John has been with the AIGA committee since it was formed in 1986 as Treasurer and then Chairman and has been actively involved in all of the fund raising activities but after so many years, he felt it is time to bring some “new blood” onto the Committee. His replacement, Michael Ellen is a keen tennis player and was in the Alderney Tennis team at Rhodes. John won’t be losing touch with the Games as he is now President of AIGA and will assist Michael in any way he can.
Jill was “volunteered” as AIGA Secretary by her husband just prior to the 2001 NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Man and has been an integral part of the Committee since then.
