Bermuda Joins IGA
August 2001

On behalf of the International Island Games Association may I extend a warm welcome to Bermuda on being elected to membership of the organisation.

It becomes the 23^rd island to join the IGA family and I feel sure Bermuda will not only enjoy the spirit of friendly competition but will have a major contribution to make in connection with the continuing development of the Games.

The executive committee of the IGA looks forward to seeing Bermuda taking its place at the NatWest Island Games in Guernsey in two years’ time and wishes its athletes every success as they prepare for their debut in the event.
